Clear bowl with optional lid.  Made from polylactide (PLA) which is a renewable resource-based resin. The material uses carbon in starch plants, usually corn, which is broken down into sugars.  The carbon & other elements in these natural sugars are used to make this natural 'plastic' through fermentation. Looking just like clear plastic, PLA biodegrades in approx. 4 months.  Available in Small 500ml & Large 700ml.  Lids available separately.
